Michael Tardif has over 25 years of experience applying information technologies to the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of buildings.  He is the former Director of the Center for Technology and Practice Management of the American Institute of Architects (1998-2004), the former project manager of the agcXML Project (2006-2008), and the former Director of Technology Services for Grunley Construction (2008-2013). His experience also includes over 15 years in architecture practice.

Michael is the co-author, with Dana ("Deke") K. Smith, FAIA, of Building Information Modeling: A Strategic Implementation Guide for Architects, Engineers, Constructors, and Real Estate Asset Managers (John Wiley & Sons), the first and only published work to advocate for the application of business process modeling to the design and construction of buildings.
